Newborn Session

I love photographing newborns, each session is so special to me. I love helping you choose what props we will use, listening to your birth stories and getting those precious cuddles from your beautiful new baby.
I am a proud member of Banpas and feel that a baby’s safety is the number one priority. I believe in following the baby’s lead and working around them.

As a mum of four myself, I believe the most wonderful thing we can do is to welcome a new baby into our world. I can help you remember those tiny curled up toes, that little button nose. The way their little toes grip your thumb. Those tiny windy smiles and long perfect fingers.

When you come to me for your precious little ones first photographs I welcome you into my studio in Grimsby. A warm place where you can relax and watch me work with your little one. Within my studio there is a variety of props for you to choose from to suit your requirements.

I photograph newborns up to 6 weeks but it is best to capture those tiny details before 3 weeks while baby is still quite sleepy. Sessions can take up to 4 hours so please bare this in mind when bringing young siblings along. I allow for 2-4 hours so as to follow baby’s lead and to allow for set up changes, feeds and ensuring we have a variety of images for your gallery to choose from. I do recommend you dress in layers as the studio does get quite warm. This is important for baby to feel comfortable. You are welcome to bring snacks, drinks and reading material.

I also offer lifestye photography sessions at your home within the Lincolnshire and East Lindsey area. These are perfect if you'd rather have your family captured at home while you are adjusting to your new addition.
